Report on the passage of educational practice sample. How to write a practice report? Filling out a practice diary

Conclusion on production practice on AHD and Audit

From March 1 to March 26, 2016, I took part in an internship in the analysis of economic activity and audit at the Kakhovskoye State Industrial Institute.

The conditions for this internship were very good. I was allocated my workplace throughout the entire internship. All the necessary documents were given to me for writing a report, with the exception of those that could not be given for non-disclosure of information. The chief accountant, who is also my head of practice from production, assisted me. The leaders of the practice from the university before the practice held a very good and understandable consultation, they were of great help in the training manuals.

I tried to fulfill the internship program as best as possible at the SPIR "Kakhovskoye" enterprise.

My wishes for improving the organization of the internship will be that students have a little more time to submit a report after the internship, otherwise everything is fine.

Conclusion on the production practice of an accountant

I, Molotova Yu.I., a 3rd year student of the Accounting and Finance Faculty of the Law Firm "Crimean Agrotechnological University" of NAU, since 23.06.08. to 19.07.08 passed industrial practice in the disciplines: economics of the enterprise, financial accounting, analysis of economic activity at the agricultural enterprise JLLC "Promin".

When applying for an internship, I wrote an application addressed to the director for admission to an internship, I was introduced to the safety regulations and internal labor regulations, and then I was given a workplace in the accounting department of the enterprise.

Employees of the accounting department acquainted me with a brief description of the economy, the conditions of the accounting process, briefly explained the features of the automated form of accounting and the features of the operation of this enterprise.

I, on personal experience in the course of practice, was able to study the features of the functioning of the enterprise and got acquainted with various types of accounting documents and reporting, and also conducted a factor analysis of the profits of the enterprise.

However, the employees of the accounting department of JLLC "Promin" strictly adhere to trade secrets and therefore, access to automated accounting and regulatory documents was limited for me.

But thanks to the extensive accounting base of the enterprise, this production practice allowed me to sufficiently study the activities of JLLC "Promin".

Conclusion of the report on the work experience of an economist

I am a 3rd year student of the Faculty of Economics of the Faculty of Economics of the NUBIP of Ukraine "Crimean Agrotechnological University", from 03/09/2010 to 03/19/2010 I had an internship in the organization and methodology of economic analysis at the agricultural enterprise "Primorye Agro" LLC, Saki district of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea .

Before admission to the practice between me and the director of the enterprise, an agreement was signed on admission to the production practice.

On the very first day of my stay in practice, I was instructed on safety and internal labor regulations, showed my workplace in the accounting department. The chief agronomist and engineer gave me a tour of all the fields of the enterprise and showed me the latest equipment in action, which was purchased in recent years.

In the course of the internship, the accounting staff acquainted me with their work and responsibilities at the enterprise, briefly told the features of the existence of this enterprise.

During the period of practice, I was able to study the main forms of documents, on the basis of which I did an analysis of the economic activity of the enterprise. All employees of the enterprise answered all the questions I posed to the best of my ability. But the absence of a planning department at the enterprise complicated my work, so many data and characteristics of the enterprise were not available to me. All documents were issued to me only with the personal permission of the chief accountant. Since the enterprise was formed at the end of 2007, many forms of documents were not compiled, because they were not required by statistics, which also made the analysis difficult.

However, the consultation of the director, chief accountant and other employees of the enterprise, in the presence of basic documentation, allowed me to study the features of the functioning and economic activity of the LLC Primorye Agro enterprise quite well.

Conclusion of the report on production practice in an agricultural enterprise

During the period of production practice at Primorye Agro LLC, Saki district of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, studies were carried out. On the basis of which the following conclusions can be drawn.

The agricultural enterprise Primorye Agro LLC has a large territory. Which increases every year due to the conclusion of new lease agreements with land owners. The area of agricultural land completely coincides with the total land area (5940 ha), which includes arable land and perennial plantations. There are no lakes and artificial reservoirs in the structure of the enterprise, since water is supplied to the enterprise through the pipes of the North Crimean Canal.

The enterprise is engaged exclusively in crop production and has a grain-growing specialization. It sells its products mainly to the population or for cash.

The company suffers heavy losses due to weather conditions. As a result of additional work (for clearing the fields or reseeding the dead areas of sowing), the total cost significantly exceeds the selling price on the market. Non-operating expenses are higher than income, which also negatively affects net profit, which is a loss for the enterprise from year to year.

Primorye Agro LLC exists due to investments. Since 2007, it has been part of a holding company, which, through American banks, gave it a loan of $5 million. due to which there was an expansion of production and the purchase of fixed assets (machinery, equipment, vehicles). At the moment, the profit is almost not noticeable due to exchange rate differences in the securities market (the company often sells foreign currency).

The company employs highly qualified experienced specialists. Those who conscientiously fulfill their duties, monitor the economic activities of the enterprise, introduce new technologies to improve production efficiency.

The accounting apparatus is represented by experienced accountants who perform timely collection of information, its registration, processing and further form various forms of reporting.

LLC "Primorye Agro" is a young, but very promising enterprise, which will be profitable in the near future. This is evidenced by many indicators characterizing the financial condition of the enterprise, since from year to year they improve and tend to the norm.

Examples of conclusions of the practice report

Conclusion of the report on the practice of economic analysis

I, Mamaeva O. O. are 3rd year students of the accounting and financial faculty of the Law Firm "Crimean Agrotechnological University" of NUBIPU, since 9.03.10. until 19.03.10 passed an internship in the organization and methodology of economic analysis at the agricultural enterprise JSC "PZ" Krymsky "

When applying for an internship, I wrote an application addressed to the director for admission to an internship, I was familiarized with the safety regulations and internal regulations, then I was assigned a workplace in the accounting department.

During the practice, I was able to learn from personal experience the features of reconciliation and filling out various forms of documents, which will allow me to further analyze the need for their application.

However, access to the accumulative documents necessary for writing a practice report was rather limited for me, the employees of the accounting department of PZ Krymsky JSC strictly adhere to trade secrets, all documents were issued to me only with the personal permission of the chief accountant.

Conclusion of the report on the practice of an accountant

Having familiarized myself with the accounting department, I analyzed the economic activities of the enterprise LLC "Leader" of the Leninsky district of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, got acquainted with the documents of synthetic, primary and analytical accounting, and also learned how to analyze and draw up correctly. The main documents were accounting, financial and statistical reports.

The organization of the practice management by the university was not difficult and quite satisfactory for its passage. Quite satisfactory knowledge was also shown at the enterprise.

For the efficiency of production and sales of products at the enterprise, from my point of view, an increase in the number of employees is required, and in general the enterprise is working normally, if we do not take into account the fact that for the last two years, Lider LLC, Leninsky district of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, has been operating at a loss.

Conclusion of the report on the practice of AHD and Audit

I had an internship in the disciplines: "Analysis of economic activity" and "Organization and methods of audit". From 01.03 to 26.03.10 at the GP UO PPP im. Frunze.

During the internship in the "Analysis of economic activity" I studied the structure of the enterprise, the main directions, the volume of sales of agricultural products. I found out that the company specializes in raising egg poultry, so we can say that the leading industry in the company's activities is poultry farming. Due to the increase in poultry production SE UO PPZ them. Frunze has been considered the best enterprise in Ukraine for two years now.

Having considered the volumes of sales of agricultural products, I found out what markets exist for products at the enterprise, there is a point for selling products (eggs, chickens, hens). I found out that for the products of the GP UO PPZ them. Frunze demand is high.

I have acquired practical skills and knowledge of organizing and conducting control, conducting audits directly in the production environment of the State Enterprise UO PPP named after. Frunze and found out that financial statements provide reliable and objective information about the financial condition of the enterprise.

In GP UO PPZ them. Frunze, a journal-order form of accounting is used. The company uses the accounting program "1 C: Enterprise 2008", which allows you to continuously process accounting information, improve the quality of accounting. Having studied accounting at the enterprise, I believe that the enterprise needs to improve the technology of accounting documentation in individual divisions of the enterprise.

Having studied internal control at the enterprise, I believe that a clear delineation of job responsibilities between management personnel is necessary. Next, I proceeded to review the financial statements for the form, content and consistency of the financial statements.

As a result of the practice on "Organization and methods of audit" and "Analysis of economic activity" at the State Enterprise UO PPP named after. Frunze, I consolidated the theoretical knowledge gained in the process of studying at the University, mastered modern forms and methods of organizing analysis and conducting an audit of an enterprise.

Conclusion of the report on geological practice

In practice, we went to the diabase quarry. The form of its occurrence is laccolith.

Laccolith is an intrusive massif with a mushroom-shaped or domed roof in section and a relatively flat base. They were formed by viscous magmas, as a rule, of acidic composition, coming either through dike-like supply channels from below, or from the force and spread through the layering, uplift the enclosing overlying rocks without disturbing their layering.

Diabase is a semi-deep analogue of gabbro. Their structure is porphyritic. Porphyritic phenocrysts are elongated plagioclase and augida crystals. The mineral composition of these rocks is similar to that of basalts. They are painted in dark green or black. Diabases occur more often in the form of vein-like bodies. They are known in the Urals, the Caucasus, Siberia and a number of other places. They are used, like basalts, in the construction and stone-casting business.

Above we see sedimentary rocks. In places there are shell rocks and limestones. Diabase is an igneous rock. It consists of augida, alvin, feldspars. In cracks we observe calcite (metamorphic rock)

Calcite is formed biogenic, hydrothermally, as well as in the process of weathering and is part of many sedimentary and metamorphic rocks.

In the diabase quarry, we see that sedimentary rocks were deposited first, and younger rocks were deposited below. On the way we met conglomerates.

Conglomerates are dense rocks formed as a result of cementation of rounded clasts. The fragments are most often cemented by carbonate, siliceous, and ferruginous clayey cements.

Also on our way there was also limestone-shell rock.

Limestone-shell rock - carbonate rock is represented by organogenic limestones. Limestone-shell rock is quite easy to identify by the remains of shells larger than 1 mm.

We also saw numulite limestone. It is also an organogenic rock.

We also saw the Apsk clay quarry. These clays have very low water permeability. Clay is collected, fired and bricks are mined. Bilimnites are found in Apsk clays. They are shaped like a bullet, brown in color.

We all really enjoyed the trip to the quarries, I hope there will be many such interesting and entertaining practices.

A serious test after the holidays that a student faces is practice report.

Usually, a student's practice happens three times during the entire period of gnawing through the granite of science in any self-respecting university. The first stage is required to pass the training, then, depending on the specialty, production. The final checkmark will be the passage of pre-diploma.

Each of these types of practice is nuanced and involves its own differences.

With educational practice, one usually encounters in the second or third year. This is not the most difficult problem. No in-depth familiarization with the working environment is required and no need to visit the enterprises. Usually, training practice takes place within the framework of an educational institution.

Industrial practice is a little more serious. During the period of internship, a detailed study of the work of any enterprise is already required and, subsequently, the preparation of a report with filling in a diary.

Pre-diploma practice is the end point after which only the preparation and defense of the diploma remains. Here it will already be required to pass it at the enterprise. Prepare a comprehensive report. Complete diaries and provide feedback from the practice leader. Moreover, the diploma is most likely to be based on the report on the pre-diploma. Yes, and with some luck, it will be possible to immediately score a place in the enterprise where they did their internship.

Some students really get a job in an organization for an internship, in order to obtain information on the basis of which a report on a summer introductory practice will already be written.
But, unfortunately, not everyone has such an opportunity. We offer you to download the required sample or an example of a completed report - for free.

Or, if the works from our collection do not suit you, ordering an exclusive report is also quite simple - for this you need to fill out a form with requirements and wait for the finished work.

Structure of a typical practice report

All practice reports, with rare exceptions, are similar in structure and include the following sections:

Title page - for all educational institutions it is approximately the same. The header indicates the name of the institution where the student is studying and specialization. Centered is the topic, if any, and the type of practice report. Further, the data of the student and either the head of the practice or the checking teacher, the course, the name of the student's group, the place of the practice, the city in which the educational institution is located and the year the practice report was written.

Introduction, in keeping a report, it is usually customary to tell why a student is doing an internship and what are the goals and objectives of both preparing a report and doing an internship. They are usually already provided in the training manual and the assignment for the report.

Main section. Here it is usually divided into several subsections of theory and practice. As a standard, the organizational structure of the enterprise, legal information, and features of the activity should be present. And in the practical part, analytics on the enterprise and recommendations for improving activities may be required.

The conclusion is a very important point of the practice report. In conclusion, they write the conclusions that the student made as a result of the internship. Immediately, an assessment is given to one's own participation in practice, and the efforts made are adequately assessed. You can also briefly recommend what and how can be improved at the enterprise.

Applications - this is not always required, but it is better to put the main infographics in applications. They are made so as not to overload the report itself with an endless array of additional materials.

Diary - this section is rarely, but still required to be included in the report. Although usually, nevertheless, the practice diary is filled out separately and is an independent element.

An internship report is a student's work, the purpose of which is to show the members of the test committee what achievements the student managed to acquire during the internship. During the training, future specialists will have to go through several types of practice, and for each of them it is required to write a report.

What is a practice report

In total, the student must complete three types of practice during their studies. The first of the practices is student practice. The second is production. And the last - pre-diploma. It should not be thought that each of the practices has the same features and characteristics. Each type of practice has its own characteristics. In accordance with this, a report on the practice is also written.

You will take the first type of practice in the second or third year of study, depending on the discipline in which you are studying. In this practice, you will immerse yourself in the working atmosphere a little. You are unlikely to be assigned specific tasks. You will most likely get acquainted with the activities of the enterprise, go on excursions. During this period, it is important to take some notes for yourself that you may need to write a practice report.

In the production practice, you will already be immersed in the process of a full-fledged work activity. But at the same time, the curator will help you. This is a mandatory measure that is necessary for the student to fully complete the internship.

In undergraduate practice, you will accurately perform the work of a specialist in your field. Naturally, a curator will also monitor your activities, but his mission will be focused only on control, and not on the direction of your activities. At this stage, it is important to prove yourself on the good side. There are cases when a student has proven himself so well in the workplace that after graduation from the university he was hired exactly in the place where he did his internship. So you will automatically have a profession and there will be no need to look for a job after receiving a diploma.

If you still doubt that you will be able to write a report on the practice yourself, then you can always contact us, and we will allocate a competent specialist to write a report on any type of practice.

There are several points that are similar for all three types of practice:

  • General objectives regarding the summing up of the course of study;
  • Obtaining theoretical information, which is presented in writing;
  • Obtaining practical knowledge and describing them in a short form;
  • General understanding of the type of activity with which the student will be associated after the end of the training course;
  • Studying the company's activities from the point of view of a full-fledged employee.

The internship report is an important analytical work that does not just include a description of the student's activities at the internship stage. The report should contain clear recommendations for improving the company's performance. This will prove that the student really understands the essence of the problems of the enterprise.

With the help of the internship, the student truly realizes what he will expect after graduation. Thus, when he starts working, this will not be a novelty for him. It will be easier for him to adapt in a team, he will carry out work assignments on his own without outside help. Moreover, with the help of a successful internship, he will be able to make a full contribution to the company's activities.

In order for the report to meet the requirements, it is necessary to properly study not only the activities of the company itself, but also study the regulatory documents, act and similar information.

How to write a practice report

The first step in writing a report will be to receive an assignment for practice at your university. Often the task is also called methodological instructions. This is a certain form on which it is necessary to write a report. The manual will be given to you at the department of your university.

Further, when you received an assignment for practice, you need to clearly understand that you must attend all practical classes without gaps, since exactly the information that you will later include in the report will be given to you in a brief form. Any day you miss can cause a huge knowledge gap. Thus, if you attended all the classes, devoted yourself entirely to work, then it will not be difficult for you to write a practice report on your own. At least you will understand what you are writing about.

But there are many examples when students do not attend practice for certain reasons. For example, a student works during his studies not in his specialty, but he needs to go through an internship formally. Or the student simply does not want to go to practice, because he understands that after graduation he will not work in his specialty. But you still need to close the issue with writing a report. And at the same time, he does not want to lose face in front of the teacher and fellow students. It is at such moments that our company will come to the rescue.

Those who still want to write a report on their own should first collect as much information about the company as possible. This may include regulations and documents, as well as specific information related to your business.

Once you have collected enough material and texture, you need to draw up a work plan to structure the information received and present it in an accessible form. If we talk about the structure of the practice report, then for all three forms the structure will be the same and unchanged. The only difference is the amount and nature of the information.

What is a Practice Report?

There are generally accepted norms for the structure of practice reports. Typically, a report consists of:

  • Title page. This is the main page of the report, which contains information about the trainee, curator, department, university, as well as about the enterprise and the topic of work.
  • Report content. This is a listing of all sections of the report, including appendices.
  • The introductory part, called - introduction. This is a small introductory section that describes the general meaning of building a practice. It lists the goals and objectives that the author of the work planned to accomplish.
  • The main part of the work. This section is divided into theory and practice. Especially many problems arise for students at the stage of formation of this part of the work. If the theoretical part is somehow written independently, then the practical part of the practice report is ordered most often.
  • Final part. This is a list of findings on the job. Here the student must rate himself on the work done. It is mandatory to include recommendations in the conclusion.
  • Applications. These are grouped materials that the student refers to in the work. These can be company regulations, other important documentation, legal references, and more.

Types of practice reports

If we are talking about the very first report that you have to write, then there are several features that must be taken into account. This is a simple type of report, in which there is no practical part, since it is assumed that the student in student practice will only learn to delve into work activities. Moreover, student practice is often carried out in the form of lectures, so it is important to collect as much theoretical information as possible. For the purposes and objectives of the author, the work should not be described directly about labor practice.

If we dwell on the report on industrial practice, then the work here should be more serious and structured. The design of the report must fully comply with the general university standards. But it happens when your particular educational institution puts forward its own requirements for the design of this type of report. In this case, these recommendations should be followed. It is important to understand that industrial practice requires independent work of the student within the enterprise. This will need to be shown in the report.

And the last type of report is pre-graduation practice. The structure of such a report will not differ from the previous types of reports. But here you will need to make a note about the graduation project, which will be written immediately after the internship. The undergraduate practice report can be used to write a thesis. Mention should be made in order to obtain admission to the defense of the graduation project. If the topic of the report and the diploma do not match, then you may not get admission. The report is accompanied by a diary of undergraduate practice, a description from the place of work (of the enterprise where you did your internship), as well as an explanatory note.

What is an explanatory note to the report

This is the short form of the practice report. It describes, point by point, what the student did during his labor activity, as well as what documents regulate his activities.

The teacher usually reads this document first. That is why he should not have any questions about whether you wrote the practice report yourself. From this document, everything should be very clear to him.

How to write a description for a practice report

A characteristic is a document that the head of practice writes to the student. But most often it happens that the students themselves write a description for themselves, and the curator simply signs on it.

How to write and fill out an internship diary

This document is mandatory for all practices. This is a table that includes information for each day of practice. This table contains the number and actual time spent at the workplace, as well as a description of activities by day. Filling out such a diary is not difficult, but only if the student actually attended classes. If he did not attend work, then when filling out the diary, he will have to show imagination. Usually it is not difficult to write a diary, since in fact it is only one or two sheets with a history of visiting the place of internship.

How is the written practice report defended?

Defending an internship report is easy for those who actually took the time to complete an internship. The accumulated skills just remained in the head, and on defense they need to be confirmed, justified and described. There is nothing difficult in this. But what about those who, for certain reasons, could not do the internship? In this case, our company is also ready to provide assistance and prepare a draft for the defense of the practice report.

The student should fully study his report so that if questions arise, they are immediately answered without hesitation. Moreover, you must visually represent where in the text of the report the answer to the question can be found. Structurally, the presentation should be in the form of slides. The first slide will contain the same information as on the title page of the report.

The second slide should contain brief information about the company where the internship was completed. Here you can set the goal of the internship. That is, you describe the activities of the company and equate your work with these activities. That is, you answer the question - Why did I do my internship in this particular company.

On the third slide, you will place a summary of the main part of the work. It's best to break it down into numbered paragraphs so that the audience can visually see what you want to convey to them.

On the fourth slide, you can place conclusions about the work done. You can add more additional slides on the topic of work. Try to navigate the presentation slides as best you can. For each slide, you should have a clearly calculated time for your presentation so that there is no situation when you have already told a certain block, but the slide is still old or, on the contrary, ahead of your story.

As a rule, the practice takes place three times during the entire time of the student's training. First they go through training practice, then production. The final stage, which shows all the knowledge of the student and the skills he has mastered for the entire period of study, is the passage of pre-diploma practice.

Each of these practices has its own characteristics. Teaching practice takes place in the second or third year. It does not imply direct immersion in the work environment. Rather, it is an external acquaintance with the work of the enterprise by listening to lectures and visiting excursions.

Industrial practice is a more serious stage of training. During the internship, the student is immersed in the work process and performs the functions of a full-fledged worker, but under the guidance of a curator.

Undergraduate practice is a crucial stage of education. In addition to the fact that the student fully fulfills the duties of a specialist, he must also show his best side. Not only writing a diploma, but also further employment depends on this. If you are noticed during the undergraduate practice, you may well be offered a worthy profession after graduation.

No matter how all types of practice differ from each other, the goals and objectives of their passage, as a rule, are the same:

  • Summing up the training course;
  • Consolidation of theoretical knowledge;
  • Mastering practical work skills;
  • Awareness of the activities that will have to be faced after graduation;
  • Studying the work of the enterprise from the inside.

At the end of each stage, the student is required to write a report on the practice. This is a document that shows what the student has learned, what skills he has mastered and what professional qualities he has acquired during his internship. This is a very important work, since it is on its basis that a conclusion is made about the professional preparedness of the student.

As a rule, practice involves placing the student in conditions that will be usual for him after graduation, during direct employment. So, in order for the practice report to turn out to be as competent, high-quality as possible and contain all the necessary information, you need to carefully study the workflow of the enterprise where the student is doing the practice, all its documentation and regulations.

It is also desirable to fully describe your activities at this enterprise, talk about your achievements, give recommendations on how to improve the work of the enterprise. The report must be drawn up in accordance with all norms and generally accepted standards for the execution of documents.

How to write a practice report: where to start

Writing any practice report begins with the receipt of a methodological instruction at the university. This is a kind of instruction for writing a practice report.

The manual must be obtained from the department. It contains all the necessary information on the tasks of the practice, writing and formatting reports.

Example of a guidance note

The basis for writing a practice report is the practice plan. It reflects the key tasks of the student during practice. As a rule, the plan contains 3-4 tasks.

Sample Practice Plan

A competent, structured practice report implies a thorough collection of information about the enterprise, analysis of this information, development of a plan to improve and improve the activities and workflow of the enterprise. Therefore, it is necessary to start writing a practice report, first of all, with frequent visits to practical classes.

Take your internship seriously, as writing a report isn't hard unless you really know what you're doing. If you have not mastered any material or did not understand any process, do not hesitate to contact the curators of the report. As a rule, there are two of them: from the enterprise and from the educational institution.

After you have collected all the information that you could collect about the enterprise, proceed to its analysis. Carefully study any documents and legal acts - they will be useful to you.

When the work with the information is over, you can start presenting it. Carefully structure the text, make it readable and understandable, so that it is easy for the teacher to read it and just as easy to give you an excellent mark.

The structure of the practice report is always the same. These are generally accepted rules that you need to be guided by when ordering your information.

Practice Report Structure

In general, if the educational institution has not put forward any of its requirements, the structure of the practice report looks like this:

  1. Title page, which is drawn up according to all the rules. Usually, the following information is indicated on the title page: the name of the educational institution and specialty, the topic and type of the practice report, the surname and initials of the teacher who checks the report and the student who performs it, the name of the group in which the student studies, the name of the enterprise where practical classes are held , the city in which the educational institution is located and the year of writing the practice report.
  2. Content with section numbering.
  3. Introduction, which indicates the goals and objectives of passing practical classes. They, as a rule, are already given in the guidelines for writing a report. In addition, the introduction indicates the expected result of the internship.
  4. Main part. This section must be divided into theoretical and practical parts. In addition, the theoretical part should be divided into sections, and the practical part, as the educational institution sees fit. In this part, all calculations are made, the activities of the enterprise are described, all the necessary information about the organizational structure is told, analysis and comparative characteristics are carried out.
  5. The conclusion is perhaps the main section of the practice report. The conclusion includes all the conclusions made by the student during the practical training. Immediately, an assessment of one's own work is given, and the efforts made are adequately assessed. In addition, in conclusion, it is imperative to give your recommendations on how to improve the professional activities of the enterprise.
  6. Applications are the last structural section of the report. This is all sorts of data that can be referenced from the body of the report. The application is not numbered. This is mainly various documentation, interviews, extracts from legislation and other useful information.

Of course, reports on different types of practice differ from each other, albeit slightly.

Types of practice reports

Practice Report

Since the training practice is the easiest type of practical training, the structure of the report on it also does not present any particular difficulties. It differs from the standard practice report structure in that, as a rule, it does not have a practical part.

Training practice takes place in group classes, so you need to use the opportunity and collect as much theoretical knowledge as possible about the organizational structure of this enterprise. The goals and objectives of the educational practice exclude the student's immersion in the working environment, this should not be forgotten when writing the introduction and conclusions.

Field Practice Report

Industrial practice is a more serious stage than practical training. The report on production practice is drawn up exactly as indicated in the generally accepted standards, with the exception of cases when the educational institution puts forward its own rules for formatting the report.

Remember that the field trip is focused on independent work and the student's own reasoning, so your opinion and your recommendations are very important in the report.

Report on undergraduate practice

Pre-diploma practice is the most important stage for the entire period of study. The structure of the report on undergraduate practice is preserved, but in the main part of the report or in the conclusion - at the choice of the educational institution - information about your thesis should be mentioned.

The fact is that during the undergraduate practice and writing a report, you must choose the topic of the graduation project, which must necessarily overlap with your specialty.

Do not forget to mention this information in the report, as your admission to the defense of the thesis and your grade in undergraduate practice, which also affects the final grade, depend on it.

To correctly write a practice report, we advise you to view examples of such reports on the site in order to follow them to create a competent work.

Certain documents must be attached to each type of report. This is a mandatory rule for every educational institution. The role of documents is usually an internship diary, a description from the place of internship and an explanatory note.

Explanatory note to the practice report

An explanatory note is a short, written by a student, summary of the practice report. It should contain all the actions of the student and information about the internship in general.

Explanatory note to practice - an example

The explanatory note should be one sheet of A-4 format and written in the same style as the practice report, that is, in the scientific one.

Characteristics for the practice report

A description of the report is not required for all types of practice. Usually a report on educational practice is submitted without this document.

Characteristics for the practice report - an example

The characteristic from the place of internship implies a brief review of the representative of the enterprise about the work of the student at this enterprise. As a rule, the characteristic indicates the student's attendance at practical classes, his participation in the organizational process, the benefit of this student for the enterprise, the student's readiness to join the ranks of professional employees.

Special attention is always paid to the characteristics, especially in pre-diploma practice.

Practice diary

The practice diary is a document filled out by the student himself. Usually the educational institution issues a form for filling out the diary.

The practice diary is a record of the student's practical training every day. The diary indicates the date, the work done for that day and the result of the work done. It is easy to fill in the practice diary, however, if you have not attended practical classes, then show your imagination and write down the invented actions in the practice diary.

Do not forget that this document must be signed by the enterprise and signed by the curator from the organization.

Protection of the practice report

When the practice report is completed, it is time to defend it. We say right away that it is very easy to defend a report if you have had an internship and responsibly approached the tasks. You don’t even have to learn anything, because the skills you have worked out will surely remain in your memory.

You must navigate your report and know where to look if there is a lack of information.

Often, when defending a report, many teachers require a presentation made specifically for defense. There is nothing complicated in making a presentation. Its structure looks like this:

  1. The first slide, which contains all the information that is written on the title page. This, in a way, is the title page of the presentation.
  2. The second slide contains the name of the enterprise where the practice took place and the name of your supervisor from the enterprise.
  3. The third slide is kind of an introduction. It should indicate the goals and objectives of the internship.
  4. The fourth slide plays the role of a conclusion. It should cover all the results and conclusions made by the student.
  5. In the next slides, you should briefly describe all the information that you consider necessary to cover from the main part. Whether it's relevance, your advice or recommendations, keep it short and smart.
  6. The last slide shows the results of the presentation.

How to write a practice report: rules and examples updated: February 15, 2019 by: Scientific Articles.Ru

Good day, dear reader! If you are now faced with the problem of how to write a practice report, then you have hit it! I've come to the right place As part of a series of articles, we will analyze in detail the process of writing a practice report, so that it becomes as clear as possible to you where to start, what materials are needed to write a practice report, etc.

Practice in many universities in Russia is similar, but there are some differences in terms of passing it and, accordingly, writing a report on practice in different specialties. It is clear that the practice of a medical student differs from that of a student of nuclear physics. However, general principles can be found both there and there.

As an example, we will take a report on the practice in the direction of "Management". Many students study in this particular specialty, so many will be able to immediately apply all the recommendations regarding the preparation of a practice report, practically without adjusting anything to their needs.

How to start writing a practice report?

Good question what to say. To begin with, it would be nice to go through this very practice at the enterprise. However, many students, instead of “gaining practical skills in real market conditions”, prefer to approach the process of passing the practice formally, i.e. just sitting at home for the allotted time.

Is it good or bad? More likely bad than good. After all, in fact, if you think about it, then the practice is given to the student for a reason, but so that he can feel the “smell” of gunpowder in real conditions.

If you have never worked in your specialty, then we strongly recommend that you go to an internship in order to gain at least basic practical professional skills. These skills will still be useful to you and certainly will not be superfluous. If you already had work experience in your future profession, then we also advise you to take the practice responsibly, because. this period of time is a great opportunity for you to "hone" your professional skills.

However, let's return directly to the report on practice. How to start writing a report? First of all, you will need regulatory documents on the basis of which you will form the "skeleton" of your report.

What kind of documents can these be? First, it's:

- charter (constituent agreement) of the enterprise,

- timesheet;

- job descriptions;

- standard contracts used in the economic activities of the organization.

Second, to write practice report you can use:

- archival documents;

- summary tables;

— statistical data, etc.

As you can see, there are a lot of documents on the basis of which you can generate a cool report. Just take and make the necessary statements. However, only documents when writing a practice report you won't get off. In your report, you need to include your thoughts, your analysis, which you conducted on your own based on the available information about the activities of the enterprise.

For example, you can create a table of the company's best-selling products (if you have the relevant data). Educators like this kind of research inserts in reports very much.

By doing this, you show yourself as a competent specialist who can analyze the current activities of the company and make suggestions for improving the economic activities of the organization.

Also, for starters, it would be nice for you to know the approximate content of the practice report. It usually looks like this:

However, do not forget that, for example, in the same department of management, there are 3 types of practice:

1) educational and fact-finding;

2) production;

3) pre-diploma.

In principle, they are very similar to each other, only there are differences in the justification of your proposals. If during the training and introductory practice you can make your proposals on improving the company's activities without any financial calculations, then during the production and undergraduate practice you are obliged to calculate all your proposals and find out whether they are profitable or not.

So, it is time to start a practical analysis of the content of the practice report.

Analysis of an example of a practice report.

1. Explanatory note.

First paragraph practice report is an explanatory note. In it, you yourself write a summary of what you did during your internship on about one sheet of A4.

Remember that the first thing the teacher will read is the explanatory note, so try to write it in such a way that your teacher has a favorable impression of your practice.

What to write in an explanatory note? Write down what you did during your internship. Try to write in a scientific language so that the teacher finally gets the impression that you really were in practice, and did not sit out your pants at home.

In the explanatory note, you can write something like this: “My functional duties included ... this, that, that. I did work such and such, such and such." For greater clarity, we have prepared specially for you screenshots with the approximate content of the explanatory note.

2. Characteristic.

The profile is usually written by your practice leader. It reflects everything that you have flashed (or not flashed) in practice. Also, your business qualities, professional knowledge, etc. are reflected in the characteristic.

However, often the practice leaders (and often they are also the heads of the enterprise at the same time) simply have no time to write a testimonial for you. This practice is very common in Russia.

What to do in this situation? There are no special options - you have to write a description about yourself. We warn you right away - do not try to characterize yourself in a characterization as if you are a superman who is the coolest in the world. Such over-praised words may arouse the suspicion of the teacher with whom you will defend your practice.

Write objectively, try to think about what you really did during your internship, and not about what you would think of yourself so that the teacher would think that I was doing something very difficult in practice. Try to be natural when writing your characterization.

However, we still advise you to try to convince the head of your practice at the enterprise so that he finds the time to write you a testimonial. You must know your real level in order to be able to improve your weaknesses, if such are reflected in the testimonial written by your practice leader.

You can see examples of characteristics in the screenshots:

Conclusion: Within the first part of the article How to write a practice report we got acquainted with the general structure of the practice report, found out what documents are needed in order to successfully write a report, and also analyzed the first paragraphs of the content of the practice report, namely the paragraph “Explanatory note” and “Characteristics”.

Now you know, how to write a practice report.
